Day 2 – Three Day Military Diet Menu
You made it to Day 2 of the Three Day Military Diet! It’s all downhill from here. There is no caffeine consumed on Day 2 or Day 3. Water only, and we recommend a lot of it. This may be hard for those that are used to their daily pick-me-up. If this is you then it may be time to realize the effect that caffeine is having on your body.
The meals probably weren’t exciting on Day 1 and they will probably be even less so on Day 2. Exercise is important even when you aren’t dieting. But try not to overdo it. The main function of this diet is food synergy and low calorie. We recommend you follow an appropriate exercise routine but you don’t want to leave yourself dragging all day. Low calorie intake and hard workouts are recipes for cheating/failing on the diet.
Day 3 is the last day on the Three Day Military diet cycle. After 3 days you will return to your normal eating schedule. Try and remember that when you don’t feel fulfilled after each meal. And remember that it takes 20 minutes for your brain to receive the signal from your stomach that you are full.
There are some dieters on Day 2 of the Three Day Military Diet that want to see results instantly. They get tempted to eat even less. This is a mistake. Not only will you willpower fade and you will eventually break the diet, this slows down your metabolism.
It is your choice of when to eat each meal. Some are used to eating the first thing in the morning. Others like to eat breakfast a couple of hours into the day. It is your choice for when you feel like you need each meal. The important part is that you consume each meal as a whole and follow the diet strictly. Dinner is the most generous meal to help with hunger and help you sleep. Drinking water helps with weight loss and will make you feel fuller. There are also some that believe a cold glass of water in the morning jump starts the metabolism.
Salt and pepper are allowed but try and stay away from other seasonings, flavors, hot sauce, creamers, spices, etc. It doesn’t make the meals too exciting but that is the reason that the diet works. And it’s only 3 days!
Day Two of the Three Day Military Diet - Approximately 1300 calories
Day 2 - Breakfast

1 egg – Can be cooked however you like it. If frying, don’t use oil.

1 slice toast – Whole grain bread is preferable

1/2 banana
Day 2 - Lunch

1 cup cottage cheese

1 hard-boiled egg

5 saltine crackers
Day 2 - Dinner

2 hot dogs (without bun)

1 cup broccoli – Does not have to be cooked

1/2 cup carrots – Does not have to be cooked

1/2 banana

1/2 cup of vanilla ice cream (yesterday was a full cup)
Day 2 of the Three Day Military Diet is a little more stringent than Day 1. And I’m sure the 1/2 of cup of ice cream seems paltry compared to the full cup yesterday. Stick with the diet. It will be worth the weight lost at the end of the week!
